2AD 3-Phase Induction Motors
The 2AD134D-B05OA1-DS07-C2N1 is an AC induction motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the 2AD 3-Phase Induction Motors series. The housing, blower, and flange are sized so the unit can be integrated directly into machine frames where a reliable rotating drive source is required to keep production sequences synchronized.
An integrated Axial Blower forces air through the stator channels, preventing thermal overload during high-duty cycles. Mechanical integration is streamlined by Flange mounting, which aligns the 134-frame stator against a compliant machine plate without additional foot brackets. Position feedback is handled by a Digital feedback w/multiturn absolute encoder, allowing the drive to track shaft position over multiple revolutions for coordinated motion profiles. The rotor exits through a Smooth shaft with shaft seal, limiting oil or coolant ingress at the coupling point. Incoming power is routed To Side A of the stator housing; at this face the top-mounted receptacle accepts a power plug that also supplies the blower. The connector orientation on the Top surface simplifies cable runs in vertical cabinets, and the plug style conforms to the “power plug (blower with plug)” designation. Winding code DS and motor length code D define the copper fill and lamination stack that set the motor’s current draw and nominal torque.
The drive section uses Standard bearings to support radial and axial loads while maintaining the vibration envelope defined by grade R. Because it is supplied without a holding brake, any static load retention must be handled by the external drive or mechanical locks. Service access is simplified through a Top power connection that can be reached without removing neighboring modules, and the frame’s 134 size code gives designers a clear reference for envelope and shaft height. Side B is intentionally left without a shaft end, reducing overall length and protecting the encoder chamber from back-side contamination.
