It serves as a hybrid link that carries motor power lines and low-level control pairs required for coordinated machine axes. By integrating predefined connector interfaces, it streamlines field installation and maintains consistent electrical characteristics across the system. The assembly supports demanding duty cycles found in conveyors, packaging cells, and multi-axis machining centers.
At the drive end the connector follows AEH/RKS, while the motor side terminates in INS0459, so mating is unambiguous during commissioning. The internal layout follows the INK0606 designation, offering four 4 × 16 mm² power cores for phase and protective-earth routing plus two screened pairs of 2 × (2 × 1.5 mm²) for feedback or brake control. These pairs are rated for 250 V AC, whereas the power set can handle 600/1000 V, giving clear separation between logic and energy circuits. A blanket of Tinned-Copper Braiding surrounds all elements and forms a low-impedance shield that limits EMI. Core insulation is TPE to withstand thermal cycling in continuously moving cable chains.
The fine-wire conductors are built to IEC 60228 Class 6, providing the flexibility needed for dynamic routing. Mechanical handling is assisted by a permitted bending radius of 7.5 × outer diameter, so tight bends do not overstress the copper. An outer jacket of PUR resists oil, abrasion, and weld spatter, and the bright Orange finish defined as RAL 2003 improves visibility in busy cells. With an overall cable diameter of 25.2 mm, clamping hardware can be sized accurately and strain-relief fittings can preserve shielding integrity. Electrical verification is supported by test potentials of 2000 V eff. on the control conductors and 4000 V eff. across the power cores before the assembly is placed into service.
