MAC AC Servo Motors

Thermal energy is removed by natural convection; therefore, the housing must remain exposed to ambient air rather than being enclosed in sealed ducts. These dimensional and thermal parameters let the motor share lamination tooling across the MAC family while keeping continuous current within the limits of standard drive modules.
All three power phases terminate on a keyed connector mounted on side A, so cables can exit parallel to the stator body and clear adjacent components. A blocking brake is not present, meaning any static holding force must be generated electrically or through an external mechanical clamp during machine idle states. Finally, the unit is delivered as a motor for analog drives, making it directly compatible with legacy Indramat TDM, KDS, and similar voltage-command amplifiers where digital fieldbus communication is not employed.
