The MAC114A-0-ED-4-C/130-B-0/WI634LX/S007 is an AC servo motor developed by Rexroth Indramat, utilizing a closed-loop system designed for high accuracy applications. Its integrated encoder continuously communicates with the controller to deliver the precise motor positioning necessary. The permanent lubrication of the motor's bearings eliminates the need for added upkeep. For protection against dust or contamination, the servo motor's casing is completely sealed, simultaneously restricting uncontrolled airflow. The motor boasts an optimal torque-to-inertia ratio providing superior acceleration efficiency. Temperature changes are monitored through thermos switches that automatically shut down the motor if the temperature exceeds safe limits. This motor, with an ED-type winding and 114 A dimension, operates at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm due to its unique winding configuration. The cooling mechanism is naturally convective. Feedback from the motor is sophisticated, thanks to an incremental encoder coupled with a tacho generator. The 634LX incremental encoder requires a supply voltage of 10 to 16 volts to generate 400 pulses per motor revolution and allows mechanical alterations to the reference point, a feature not available in absolute encoder motors. To protect internal components from vibration and damage, it is crucial to securely fasten the spigot nuts on connectors.
