Designed for closed-loop motion tasks, it converts drive current into precise rotary output so that automated equipment holds position, accelerates, or repeats cycles according to controller commands in packaging, material-handling, and metal-cutting lines. A standard bearing arrangement sustains radial and axial forces while minimizing run-out, allowing the unit to operate continuously in production cells.

At a rated speed of 2000 rpm, the motor can deliver its nominal torque without exceeding thermal limits determined by the axial fan cooling system. The integrated multiturn absolute encoder EnDat2.1 reports rotor position across multiple revolutions, enabling controllers to resume operation after power cycling without homing sequences. Because the unit ships without a holding brake, position retention during power-off must be handled by external mechanical locks or drive torque. Installation flexibility is provided by flange and foot mounting, letting machine builders secure the housing either to a baseplate or to a face panel, and the enclosure accepts power and feedback cables through a keyed connector interface.

The mechanical interface is a smooth shaft with shaft seal, preventing lubricant escape and limiting dust ingress while allowing direct coupling to clamping hubs or geared transmissions. All electrical terminations are located on the B-side, so cabinet layout can keep fixed conduit runs on a single face of the machine. Frame designation 100 defines the stator diameter, and code 0200 identifies the winding set that matches drive outputs intended for 400-V class supplies.
