The unit attains a rated speed of 2000 rpm, providing a predictable velocity reference for drive tuning. When stopped, an electrically released brake secures loads with a holding torque of 100 Nm; releasing occurs only after power is applied to the brake coil. Position feedback comes from a Multiturn absolute encoder EnDat2.1, enabling the controller to detect shaft angle over multiple revolutions without an external homing cycle. Thermal management is handled by an integral Axial fan that forces air along the housing to remove stator losses and maintain the insulation system within design temperature. Because the brake is Electrically-released, emergency stops are initiated by cutting power, which immediately clamps the shaft through spring force.

Mechanical connection to equipment relies on Flange mounting, letting the motor seat directly against gearboxes or machine plates. Power and feedback conductors enter via a Terminal box that sits on the designated A-Side, simplifying cable routing inside cabinets. The shaft interface is a Smooth shaft without shaft seal, suitable for couplings that rely on interference or clamping hubs and that operate in clean environments. Together with the standard bearing set and the specified vibration grade, these features enable stable operation across the speed range defined by the 0200 winding while keeping installation straightforward.
