The MAF160C-0200-FQ-M2-DG0-05-N1 is an induction motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MAF IndraDyn Asynchronous Motors series. Designed as a drive element for automation cells, it converts electrical input into mechanical rotation that can be coupled directly to gearboxes, spindles, or pump stages. By supplying three pole pairs and a squirrel-cage rotor, the unit delivers controlled torque over a wide speed range, allowing a motion controller to keep velocity and load in sync during continuous operation.

Its continuous operating point is defined by a rated output of 59.7 kW at a shaft speed of 2000 rpm. Under these conditions the motor draws 136 A and produces 285 Nm of torque, giving the drive train an energy density appropriate for medium-size production machinery. The enclosure carries a IP65 protection class, so ingress of dust and water jets is blocked when the cable glands are tightened. Each ampere supplied above no-load induces torque according to a constant of 2.3 Nm/A, simplifying current-loop tuning in the servo inverter. The rotor’s ability to change speed is linked to its 0.311 kg·m² moment of inertia; coupling this with the total assembly weight of 233 kg helps absorb vibration in rigidly mounted frames. Together these values allow the control system to predict speed changes accurately without overshoot.
