MCS Linear Motors

MCS Linear Motors are Bosch Rexroth Indramat ironless linear motor secondary components used as permanent-magnet track sections in precision linear-motion systems. The series provides the magnetic secondary path for compatible MCS linear motor assemblies and is available in frame sizes 015, 020, 030, 040, and 070. Each size corresponds to the active motor length and related power range, allowing the secondary section to be matched to the required axis performance. MCS secondary parts use a screw-mounted mechanical design and are offered in several segment lengths, including 66 mm and 99 mm for MCS015 and 120 mm, 180 mm, and 300 mm for the larger frame sizes. The permanent magnets are protected with a corrosion-resistant coating, eliminating the need for an additional cover under the specified environmental conditions. With standardized mounting and multiple segment-length options, the MCS series supports flexible linear-axis layouts in industrial automation equipment.
