MDC DC Motors

Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDC DC Motors are permanent-magnet servo motors used for industrial motion control with compatible Indramat drive systems. The MDC series uses a ceramic magnet field design and a durable motor power connector arrangement for reliable operation in factory automation environments. These motors can be configured with tachometer feedback to support stable speed regulation and smooth servo performance with reduced ripple. Mechanical and cooling options include totally enclosed versions as well as blower-ventilated designs, allowing the motor to be matched to different duty cycles and installation conditions. Available automation features include spring-set holding brakes and position feedback options such as resolver or encoder packages for applications that require controlled positioning. Motor selection is supported through duty-cycle torque ratings and performance curves, helping match MDC motors to machine axes in packaging equipment, material handling systems, machine tools, and general industrial automation.
