The motor’s nominal speed is rated at 10000 min⁻¹, so its shaft can follow high-frequency velocity commands without mechanical overshoot. At standstill it delivers 0.60 Nm of continuous torque, providing holding force for small loads while the drive maintains zero speed. A centering diameter of 40 mm aligns the stator housing with mounting fixtures and ensures concentric rotation. Cabling is routed on Side A of the housing, and a connecting cable with coupling unit mates quickly to the drive, reducing installation time. Standard housing and standard balancing mean the rotor mass distribution and enclosure dimensions follow the baseline MDD design, so no additional counterweights or special brackets are required when substituting this model for other motors in the series.

A blocking brake is integrated and can exert 1.0 Nm of static torque, keeping vertical or safety-critical axes immobilized when the drive is de-energized. The shaft uses a keyway profile to transmit torque without slip, and the single-turn position loop is closed through resolver feedback, allowing the controller to determine absolute rotor angle even during low-speed operation. Because the unit is supplied without shaft seal, it should be installed where fluid ingress is not expected or where the surrounding machine framework already provides environmental protection. The shaft end is standard and present only on the drive side, simplifying coupling alignment in tight assemblies.
