The MDD025B-N-100-N2K-040GF1 is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MDD Synchronous Motors series. As a motor for digital drive controllers, it converts electrical commands into mechanical rotation for positioning and speed control on compact axes in automated equipment.

Its rated operating point centers on a nominal speed of 10000 min⁻¹, allowing high spindle or pick-and-place velocities when driven by compatible inverters. At zero speed the motor can deliver a continuous torque of 0.60 Nm; this value defines how much static load the drive can counter without excessive heating. A mechanical blocking brake is included and exerts 1.0 Nm of holding torque, so suspended or vertical loads remain stationary during power loss. The flange uses a centering diameter of 40 mm to align the stator precisely on mounting fixtures, maintaining concentricity between motor and driven mechanics. Standard balancing limits vibration over the full speed range, while the plain shaft and fitted shaft seal keep lubricant inside the housing and debris out of the bearing zone.

The position loop is resolved by an Integrated absolute encoder, giving the drive a multi-turn position reference without external sensors. For coarse-to-fine velocity regulation the drive also interprets Resolver feedback, which supplies analog sine-cosine signals proportional to rotor angle. Power and feedback conductors exit on the Right side, and installation is simplified by the factory-fitted Connecting cable with coupling unit that locks to the mating receptacle without tools. The frame code 025 keeps the stator cross-section compact, while length code B provides additional stack height for thermal capacity. A standard housing protects the windings, and the plain output shaft terminates at side A only, preventing axial over-constraint when coupled to gearboxes or belt pulleys.
