The MDD112A-N-020-N2M-130PA1 is a digital AC servo motor made by Bosch Rexroth's MDD series. Its usage ranges from machine tools and handling equipment to robotics and packaging machines. Its design includes low inertia and a digital servo feedback system, making it ideal for high-precision applications that require high synchronism, such as grinding machines. This low inertia is achieved using permanent magnets constructed from rare-earth or iron oxide materials. The motor features an integrated multiturn absolute encoder, allowing for the detection of the motor's absolute indirect position. With a blocking torque of 14.0Nm, its blocking brake can safely halt the axis in power outage situations. The servo motor is dynamically balanced as per the N balance class requirements specified in DIN VDE 0530. It operates at a nominal speed of 2000 revolutions per minute and a theoretical maximum torque of 30.7Nm. The motor employs natural convection and surface cooling for heat dissipation, with surface cooling being the preferred method for handling extreme loads.
