The MDD112A-N-040-N2M-130GA0 is a high-quality, maintenance-free servo motor in the MDD line, engineered by Bosch Rexroth. It's characterized by a compact frame design and ready-made cables, facilitating simple installation. The rotor consists of permanent magnets crafted from rare earth and iron oxide materials, yielding low inertia. This low inertia and the motor’s moment of inertia of 61 x 10-4 kgm2 results in a superior torque-inertia ratio, enhancing the model's dynamism. The motor can produce an optimum torque of 31.3Nm and boasts a thermal sensor in the stator winding to monitor temperature and avoid thermal overload. The motor features digital servo feedback with an integrated absolute multiturn encoder, making a separate incremental encoder redundant. This encoder stores crucial motor information, reduces startup time, and adjusts securely to its drive controller. The centering diameter of this unit measures 130mm, and it operates at a standard speed of 4,000 rpm. The motor’s plain output shaft guarantees a backlash-free shaft-hub connection, enhanced by a shaft sealing ring.
