The MDD112B-L-030-N2L-130PB2 is a Bosch Rexroth MDD servo motor designed for use in rapid-response automation systems, particularly for high-precision operations like those needed in grinding machines. This synchronous motor features permanent magnet excitation and electronic commutation, providing a high cyclic load capacity and making it ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It integrates a digital servo feedback encoder system that allows for the indirect assessment of the motor's position, with data stored in the digital drive. This motor uses the optical measurement method for high accuracy. Its output shaft is form-fitted with a DIN 6885-1 keyway for backlash-free shaft-hub connections and includes a 40.0Nm blocking brake for holding the servo axes when power is disconnected. The MDD112B-L-030-N2L-130PB2's housing design permits surface cooling and meets DIN 40050 guidelines. With an IP 65 protection rating, this motor is safeguarded against high voltage contact, foreign object penetration, and water ingress. The black painted motor housing is also resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky deposits, diluted acids, and alkalis.
