The MDD112B-N-015-N2L-180GA2 is an efficient servo motor manufactured by Bosch. It possesses digital servo feedback functionality which uses an encoder to monitor speed, torque and positional variables. Collected data is relayed to the drive controller, which ensures the motor parameters adhere to operator-designated values. The motor sports a plain shaft, although MDD models with keyways are available. Furthermore, a power connection is situated on side A of the housing, complemented by an integrated blocking brake. This technological addition, offering a rated holding torque of 40 Nm, serves to counteract motor shaft spinning until released by a directed 24 Volts DC electrical signal. The motor's build includes a centering diameter of 180 millimeters and a flange size of 193 millimeters, with a total length of 387 millimeters. Four 14mm diameter holes serve as mountings. Rated at a speed of 1500 RPM, the motor provides natural convection and surface cooling for optimal performance. Packaging either individually or in units of three on a pallet, each motor is safeguarded against potential damage during transit with squared timbers, metal bands, and styrofoam or carton padding.
