The MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130GA2 is an AC servo motor with a digital design crafted by Bosch Rexroth for industrial use. The design integrates permanent magnets with electronic commutation and lifetime-lubricated bearings for maintenance-free operation. The fully sealed casing, inclusive of power and feedback cable connections, allows the motor to have a machine rated IP65 protection level. It has a temperature sensor integrated into its windings that triggers a shutdown if the temperature exceeds a certain level. The motor supports natural convection and surface cooling and operates optimally at an ambient temperature of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.

Further, it features a brake to hold the shaft at a standstill when power is off, delivering a holding torque of 40 Nm. It uses a plain shaft for non-positive shaft-hub connections and has digital servo feedback for motor response. It operates at a nominal speed of 3000 RPM and weighs 36 kg. The inductance of the motor windings is 3.1 millihenry, with a resistance of 0.25 Ohms at 20 degrees Celsius. The power connection is located on side A of the housing while it has a centering diameter of 130 millimeters.
