The MDD112B-N-030-N2L-130PB2, developed by Bosch, is an AC motor tailored for precise industrial functions, capable of cycling up to 3000 RPM. The motor's performance is influenced by several factors including cooling methods and environmental conditions. Proper functioning guarantees an ambient temperature range of between 0°C to 45°C and an elevation range of 0 to 1000 meters. Performance outside these parameters is considered misuse and liability will not be accepted. The motor, encased in a standard housing, provides two cooling options: surface cooling and natural convection. The former calls for an additional cooler, while the latter requires unobstructed ventilation over the unit. Surface cooling allows for higher torque and output current levels. Fitted with servo feedback, the unit's main rotor bearing has a keyway perfect for form-locking shaft-hub linking. Other perks include a 40Nm blocking brake to prevent unintentional shaft rotations and a power cable socket on the housing's side B.
