The MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130GA0, part of Bosch Rexroth's MDD series, is a synchronous servo motor constructed with permanent magnets and supported by electronic commutation, which uses semiconductor switches for actuating stator windings. The motor, which does not include a brake, offers maintenance-free operation, even in adverse conditions, due to an integrated winding temperature sensor. Two output shaft designs are available; however, the MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130GA0 model features a plain shaft. The motor's standard housing is rated IP65, suitable for natural convection and surface cooling.
