The MDD112B-N-040-N2M-130GB1 is a highly efficient servo motor, designed by Bosch Rexroth, having a frame length of B and a solid frame size of 112. This reliable unit incorporates an encoder, offering continuous speed and position tracking and reporting to a dedicated drive controller, which in turn regulates the said parameters in accordance with preset values. This motor, from the MDD line, is built with an IP65 certified housing, enabling both convection and surface cooling, with an operational ambient temperature range between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius for rated output and 45 to 55 degrees Celsius for derated output. Operating at a nominal speed rating of 4000 RPM, it can work effectively between 0 to 1000 meters elevation for rated output and from 1000 to 5000 meters for derated output. The standard balance class motor also features an absolute multiturn encoder for accurate feedback. The plain shaft, standard side B shaft end, and side B electrical power connection are ergonomically marked to prevent mishaps. The 14 Nm blocking brake, activated by a 24 Volts DC signal, ensures safety by preventing undesired rotation. The brake adds a minimal weight of 1.1 kilograms to the motor.
