The MDD112C-N-020-N2M-180PA2 is a compact and robust digital AC servo motor, part of the MDD series developed by Bosch Rexroth. Its housing is designed to be resistant to touch, dust and waterproof, adhering to the IP 65 classification as per DIN 40 050. This motor is also thermally protected by a sensor installed in the stator windings, which transfers heat to the outer housing walls as a means of preventing thermal overload. Capable of reaching a maximum current of 110.5A at a nominal speed of 2,000 RPM, the motor shows high cyclic loading capacity due to electronic commutation—leading to reduced failure risks from repeated fatigue stress cycles.
