The MDD112D-N-015-N2L-180GA0 is a state-of-the-art synchronous servo motor from Bosch Rexroth's MDD series. Its compact and highly efficient design includes permanent magnet excitation and electronic commutation, perfect for repeated start-stop cycles. The brushless design and lifetime lubricated bearings make it virtually maintenance-free. The motor's robust IP 65-rated housing protects it from solid objects and water jet sprays. This feature allows it to operate safely in unfavorable conditions. The bearing design supports direct attachment of belt pulleys, which can handle high radial loads. Natural convection cools the motor, and its built-in thermal sensor monitors temperature to prevent overload. The nominal speed is 1,500 RPM, and the rotor's moment of inertia is 230 x 10-4. Its flat output shaft, complete with a radial seal, ensures a backlash-free, non-positive shaft-hub connection. The motor's centering diameter is 180mm, and it can reach a maximum torque of 132.4Nm. Class N balanced as per DIN VDE 0530, this motor can achieve an ambient temperature of up to 45°C.
