The MDD112D-N-015-N2L-180GA1 is a synchronous servo motor by Bosch Rexroth, designed for high precision machining and robotics. Offering permanent magnet-excitement, the compact form motor boasts noteworthy contouring accuracies at high feed rates. Its convenience factor is enhanced by a brushless design and life-long lubricated bearings which enable maintenance-free operation. With a nominal lifetime of 30,000 operating hours, the bearings also facilitate the direct setup of pinions and belt pulleys. Its weather, yellowing, and chalk resistant black prime coated housing is completely sealed with an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating, making it suited for operation in harsh environments. Acknowledging the lower inertia and low torque-inertia ratio resulting from the rotor's iron oxide and rare earth materials construction, the motor gives a high cyclic load capacity, becoming ideal for consecutive start-stop operations. Known for its high precision, the motor offers digital servo feedback with system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes, with an optical measurement system along with data memory for motor parameters storage. The operating ambient temperature limit is 45oC and maximum installation height is 1,000m.
