The MDD112D-N-020-N2L-130PA1 is a state-of-the-art synchronous motor from the MDD line by Bosch Rexroth, designed for high precision and high-speed applications such as grinding machines. It is built with a permanent magnet and efficiently utilizes electronic commutation. An integrated optical encoder system provides digital servo feedback, thereby enabling indirect, relative recording of the motor's position in the digital drive. This motor is characterized by high cyclic load capacity, making it ideal for continuous operations with high start-stop repetition rates. Its 14.0Nm blocking brake ensures a backlash-free hold of the servo axes in a de-energized state. The motor boasts a DIN 6885-1 compliant shaft with keyway for form-fitting shaft-hub connections and a standard housing design for efficient natural convection and surface cooling, in line with DIN 40050 standards. The design ensures superior overload resistance as heat dissipates from the stator windings to the exterior motor housing. It also features a built-in temperature sensor in the windings for overload protection and offers a brushless design.
