The MDD112D-N-020-N2L-180PB2 is a digitally commutated model of the MDD series of AC servo motors from Bosch Rexroth. Featuring digital servo feedback, the motor utilizes an exact encoder mechanism to assess its relative indirect position, which fully eliminates the need for separate incremental encoders. The system accuracy stands at ±0.5 angular minutes. This servo motor, characterized by a brushless design, facilitates increased durability and decreases downtime instances resulting from wear and tear. It integrates lifetime-lubricated bearings that offer up to 30,000 operation hours, ensuring a maintenance-free usage. The motor operates at a nominal speed of 2,000 rpm and delivers a maximum theoretical torque of 134.8Nm. The motor's housing is coated in black prime varnish, providing high resistance against environmental conditions such as weathering and yellowing, and offers protection against dilute acids and lyes. With an IP 65 protection rating, the housing ensures the motor's safe operation, even in harsh environments. Cooled by natural convection and surface cooling, the motor incorporates thermal sensors in the stator windings, thus preventing potential thermal overload damage. The motor has a centering diameter of 180mm.
