The MDD112D-N-020-N2M-130GA2 is a digital AC servo motor developed by Bosch Rexroth. This device works seamlessly with Indramat intelligent drive controllers, providing an automated system that is both cost-effective and quick to respond. Its high contouring precision at high feed rates makes it suitable for tasks requiring a strict degree of synchronism, such as in grinding machines. Equipped with a digital servo feedback that allows for indirect position detection, the motor also features a plain output shaft for backlash-free, non-positive torque transmission. This motor includes a built-in temperature sensor in the windings to monitor and prevent overload damage. An added 40.0 Nm blocking brake ensures the motor remains at a standstill when the machine isn't in operation. The MDD112D-N-020-N2M-130GA2's housing adheres to DIN 40050 safety guidelines, having a black prime coating for added protection from yellowing, weathering, diluted acids and lyes. Finally, it features IP 65-compliant cable connections and operates optimally at an ambient temperature of 40 C, preferably installed at a height not exceeding 1000 m above sea level.
