The MDD115B-N-020-N2L-180PB0 is an advanced digital AC motor from the MDD line by Bosch that employs digital servo feedback. Interacting with a compatible servo controller, it provides an efficient and reliable servo system. Boasting a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings, this maintenance-free motor significantly reduces overall cost and improves reliability. The IP65-rated housing protects the motor from environmental contaminants like dust and moisture, enabling operation in diverse conditions. The motor contains a shaft seal requiring regular replacement, with a DIN 6885-1 compliant keyway. Capable of reaching 2000 RPM peak speed and supporting both surface cooling and natural convection methods, the motor adapts to various thermal requirements. Rated output is achievable within 0-45 degrees Celsius, with output derating occurring between 45-55 degrees Celsius. The motor, insulated to Class F, is furnished with a black prime-coated housing, susceptible to steam cleaner damage. The primary connection is found on the motor housing's B side. Despite no optional blocking brake, this motor provides an economical and sturdy solution for many applications.
