The MDD115C-N-020-N2L-180PA2 is a state-of-the-art synchronous motor developed by Bosch Rexroth. Boasting a power density that makes it suitable for highly dynamic applications, this motor is commonly employed in roller feeds for pressing, punching, and nibbling machines, as well as tool changing devices. The motor operates at a nominal speed of 2,000 rpm and features a specific centering diameter of 180mm. It is equipped with a temperature sensor to protect against thermal overload and has a housing designed for both natural convection and surface cooling. This casing complies with the DIN 40 050 guidelines and has an Ingress Protection Rating of IP 65, ensuring it can safely function in challenging environmental conditions. The MDD115C-N-020-N2L-180PA2 offers digital servo feedback, which facilitates the relative indirect evaluation of the motor's position. Its output shaft features a keyway according to DIN 6885-1, and the motor itself also has a blocking brake with 40.0Nm torque to prevent movement of the servo axis when disconnected from power. Optimal operational conditions are an ambient temperature of 40°C and a maximum setup altitude of 1000m above sea level.
