The MDD117B-N-030-N2M-130PB1 is a highly efficient MDD synchronous motor, expertly designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Specifically developed for industries such as robotics, textile, tool machines, and packaging, this motor offers an optimal solution cost-effectively. The distinctive feature is its integrated multiturn encoder, enabling absolute indirect position detection. It also includes a backlash-free blocking brake for secure holding of the servo axis when powered off. The output shaft includes a keyway for form-fitting torque transmissions, especially for operations of lesser demand, and operates at a nominal speed of 3,000 rpm with a centering diameter of 130mm. The cooling methods supported are surface cooling and natural convection. Meeting the DIN 40050 standard guidelines, the motor housing is of standard construction with an IP 65 rating, marking it as dust and touch-proof whilst resisting water-jet penetration. Furthermore, the brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings provide a maintenance-free operation. The motor also boasts a high overload capability due to its efficient stator winding heat conduction and built-in thermal sensor in the windings.
