It has a high power density that makes it appropriate for dynamic applications such as roller feeds for pressing, punching and nibbling machines, and tool changing devices. The motor, with an IP65 rating, is dustproof, and produces a continuous performance of 19.5 Nm torque through natural convection and 20.8 Nm with surface cooling. The motor also includes an electrically-actuated blocking brake for clamping the output shaft at a standstill, allowing for a safe shutdown.
