This motor is a cornerstone of rapid-response automation systems when synchronized with Indramat digital drive controllers. With a 29 x 10-4 kgm2 rotor moment of inertia, the low inertia of this rotor results from the special materials used in their permanent magnets. Its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings ensure a maintenance-free operation. The motor features a plain output shaft, ensuring zero backlash shaft-hub connection, while the shaft sealing ring ensures IP 65 Ingress Protection. Absolute indirect position is monitored through digital servo feedback, and the encoder offers a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and a 4,096 motor revolutions detection range.
