The Bosch Rexroth R911261311 (MDD093B-N-040-N2L-110PA0) is a digital AC servomotor, commonly used in tool-changing systems. Noteworthy for its low inertia and high overload capabilities, this motor has a rotor, whose position can be detected through its motor feedback feature. The black painted housing can be mounted in any of six orientations, as per DIN IEC 34-7 norms, although the shaft can be prone to fracture. The A-side incorporates a floating bearing and the unit does not fully prevent liquid penetration. An integral surface cooling feature is activated under high loads, and the motor functions in the 45-55°C range. Implementation of the feedback connection is achieved via a twelve-pin flanged socket. The product’s operation may display a 0.6mm positional shift due to thermal deformation and there is a possibility of thermal shutdown. This servomotor is packed using military-grade materials and comes with one year of support.
