The MDD synchronous servo motors from Bosch Rexroth, notable for their electronic commutation, are used in a variety of applications, from robotics and machine tools to food processing and packaging machines. The Bosch Rexroth R911261837 (MDD093C-N-030-N2L-110PB2) MDD motor is built with digital servo feedback for relative indirect position evaluation, eliminating the need for incremental encoders and offering a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. Featuring a thermal sensor in the stator to prevent overheating, the motor generates a maximum torque of 60.6Nm, with a rotor inertia of 42 x 10-4 kgm2, and runs at a nominal speed of 3,000 rpm. The motor, resistant to weathering, chalky buildup, yellowing, dilute acids, and lyes due to its black prime varnish coating, is safe to operate in adverse environmental conditions, protected by IP 65-rated sealing. The motor should ideally be installed at altitudes of less than 1,000m above sea level.
