The R911268843 (MDD090A-N-020-N2M-110GB1) is a Bosch Rexroth MDD series servo motor. With a housing length of 275mm and flange size of 140mm with 11mm diameter mounting holes, its plain shaft is 24mm in diameter and extends 50mm from the housing. This motor, which requires a separate order for a power connector on housing side B, depends on a servo controller for electrical power. The shaft is armed with a digital servo feedback and an integrated multiturn absolute encoder for optimum performance after several revolutions. With a thermal time constant of 45 minutes under natural convection and 30 minutes with surface cooling, this motor yields a continuous torque of 3.7 Nm with natural convection and 5 Nm with surface cooling while exerting a continuous current of 4 Amps and 5.4 Amps respectively. Weighing 12.5 kilograms, a 6.5 Nm rated blocking brake is included which releases the shaft following the application of a 24 Volts DC signal.
