Bosch Rexroth's MDD series features the R911277171 (MDD093B-N-030-N2M-110GL0), a permanent magnet synchronous servo motor with a frame length of B and a frame size of 093. This high power density, compact synchronous motor is suitable for dynamic applications including roller feeds for pressing operations and tool-changing devices. Its brushless design and lifetime lubricated bearings contribute to its high operational reliability. Its low inertia and favorable torque-inertia ratio are a result of using rare earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. Balanced to the standard balance class R (DIN VDE 0530), this motor is also viable for grinding machines and main spindle applications. It has a nominal speed of 3000 rpm, a maximum torque of 45.1Nm, a rotor moment of inertia of 29 x 10-4 kgm2, and a peak current rating of 108.2Nm. Naturally and surface cooled, this motor has a centering diameter of 110mm.
