The R911286608 (MKE116B-024-NP1-KN) is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous servo motor designed for use in potentially explosive areas. It features a black (RAL 9005) finish that offers resistance against diluted acids and seawater. The motor housing provides an IP 65 protection rating on the flange side. The motor supports both radial and axial loads on the shaft and bearings, with a shaft configured with a DIN 6885 keyway and a friction sealing ring; frequent heavy reversing is not recommended due to potential wear. Electrical connections are made via a terminal box mounted on the top, and the holding brake operates on an electrically releasing principle. Torque is reduced by 10%–20% when gearboxes are installed. Before first use after long storage, it is recommended to operate the motor at 800 to 1,000 RPM for one hour. Avoid repetitive high voltage testing to prevent damage to the unit.
