The motor incorporates special ball bearings to minimize frictional wear and is equipped with an electrically released holding brake for load stability during power-off scenarios. It utilizes a Single-turn Hiperface optical encoder (S1, 128 increments) for feedback, connected via the B-side terminal box. The motor supports installation according to EN 60034-7:1993 with a flange interface and has a shaft in plain design with a frontal centering hole and seal, featuring a DIN 332 compliant 'DS' thread. The housing finish is resistant to acids and mineral salts. Compliance with ATEX is ensured, supported by an insulation class F (155 °C) and operation within an ambient temperature range of 0 to +40 °C. The device is not suitable for environments with high sulfur gas concentrations.
