The R911402258 (MKE118D-012-BP0-KE0) servo motor, from Bosch Rexroth's MKE series, is crafted for hazardous location use. Meeting ATEX standards and protecting with an IP65 rating, this motor has an 118mm frame size, the frame length code being D, and the motor winding code - 012. Coming without a holding brake (which is available optionally), this motor can safely manage standstill and motor axis emergencies. The shaft, possessing a keyway and sealing ring, allows form-fitting torque transmission and additional protection from dust and moisture. Electro-mechanical data is installed in a terminal box atop the motor, with an optical encoder offering drive controller speed and position feedback. Coated with a distinctive black, mineral oil, and diluted acids resistant paint - the paint can only moderately resist hydraulic oil and organic solvents. Concentrated acids and lyes are strictly resistant. Any repainting is prohibited. With a permissible axial shock of 10 m/s2 and radial shock of 200 m/s2, this unit is internationally available with a one-year warranty from Indramat USA.
