MMD Synchronous Motors
MMD Synchronous Motors are compact Indramat AC servo motors developed as the matched motor platform for DMD position drives in the MINIDRIVE system. The range covers four motor sizes from 100 W through 750 W, each built around a 3000 rpm nominal speed and 2500-pulse-per-revolution incremental encoder feedback for consistent positioning performance. Versions are available with or without an electrically released holding brake, while the standard mechanical design uses a plain shaft with sealing ring and plug-in connections for power, feedback, and brake wiring. When those connections are installed correctly, the motor enclosure provides IP65 protection for industrial environments. Standard operating data is based on ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C and installation altitudes up to 1000 m, with torque derating required beyond those limits. T
