MOT Low Voltage Induction Motors

Bosch Rexroth IndraDyn E MOT-FC Motors are three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors built for standard industrial drive duties using either frequency-converter operation or direct connection to the mains. The series follows IEC motor conventions and spans approximately 1.5 to 315 kW, with 4-pole versions around 1500 min⁻¹ forming a common configuration and IE2 efficiency used as the baseline rating. Electrical versions are matched to typical low-voltage networks, with 230/400 V ratings below 3 kW and 400/690 V ratings above 3 kW. Mechanical installation options include IM B35, IM B5, and IM V1 mounting arrangements, while smaller frame sizes use aluminum housings and larger motors transition to gray cast-iron construction. Cooling can be provided by IC411 self-ventilation or IC416 forced ventilation, and standard operating data is based on ambient temperatures from approximately −20 to +40 °C at elevations up to 1000 m. Three PTC sensors, one in each phase, provide temperature monitoring to support motor protection during continuous industrial operation.
