Bosch Rexroth MRT Synchronous IndraDyn T Motors are torque motor components designed for direct machine integration as separate rotor and stator assemblies.
The series is used in applications where the motor becomes part of the machine structure rather than being installed as a complete housed motor. MRT motors support multiple cooling approaches, including natural convection and liquid-cooled operation. Stators may be supplied without a housing for machine-specific connection designs or with a housing that includes dedicated coolant ports. In liquid-cooled systems, the cooling circuit must be properly checked, vented, and monitored for flow, pressure, and temperature, with coolant supply pressure at the motor connection limited to 6 bar. The system design must also avoid tubing or fitting restrictions that could reduce coolant flow. Motor protection is handled through temperature-sensing connections to the drive controller, and vertical installations require attention to proper coolant inlet and outlet routing. Because the rotor generates strong magnetic forces and the motor can produce high torque, assembly and fastening methods must be selected carefully to prevent component damage and protect personnel during installation.
