The MS2E04-B0BNN-CMSK1-NNNNN-NN is a three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous servomotor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2E Synchronous Servomotors series. Intended for precision positioning in industrial automation, the motor combines a low-inertia rotor with deep-groove ball bearings to support rapid cycling under radial load. Self-cooling construction, standard flange exactness, varnish RAL 9005 coating, and ATEX conformity let the unit operate in production zones where combustible dust may exist. Together with robust ingress protection, the servomotor provides a compact, protected actuator for packaging stations, handling robots, and assembly cells.

Rated speed reaches 3000 1/min, offering fast cycle capability while remaining within the thermal limits of the winding insulation. A size 1, electrically released brake holds loads with 5.00 Nm when the drive is de-energised. The enclosure achieves IP65 by isolating the rotating elements from dust and water jets, so no additional shrouds are needed. Feedback is generated by the Advanced Performance ACUROlink multiturn encoder; its single-turn resolution of 20 bit enables fine interpolation for smooth contouring. Power and feedback share a single rotatable M23 connector, reducing wiring and easing cabinet integration.

The encoder tracks 4096 absolute revolutions, eliminating external homing routines. Mechanical mounting follows the B5 / IM3001 pattern with an 82 mm square flange, a 95 mm hole circle, 6.6 mm fixing holes, and a 50 mm centering collar. Standard deep-groove ball bearings support the size 04 rotor, and heat is removed through the frame length B housing. Operation is specified between 0 ... 40 °C ambient and up to 1 000 m altitude without derating, with a PT1000 sensor monitoring winding temperature. The keyway shaft with sealing ring allows quick acceleration while maintaining ingress protection and precise alignment.
