The MS2M03-A0FNN-KMDL1 is an ultra-compact synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. Designed for tight installation spaces, the unit supplies precise rotary motion for indexing tables, pick-and-place axes, and other point-to-point tasks in industrial automation. The model combines a frame size 3 stator with the short A frame length, and its low rotor inertia aids rapid acceleration without overshoot. An electrically released holding brake, powered from a dedicated 24 V DC circuit, secures the load when the drive is disabled.

Cooling is by natural convection. The motor supplies 0.64 Nm continuously at 3000 rpm while drawing 1.50 A. It tolerates short bursts up to 1.91 Nm with 4.61 A. Phase resistance is 2.78 Ω at 20 °C. Five pole pairs work with a winding designation of 3000 min⁻¹. An optical 23-bit encoder supports single-turn or multiturn feedback and operates from 4.75–5.25 V. Environmental sealing meets the IP65 rating, permitting installation in dusty or splash-prone zones when paired with the specified shaft that includes a keyway but no sealing ring. The permissible ambient range is 0 °C to 40 °C, and safe winding temperatures are sustained across that span.
