The MS2M03-B0FNN-KMDL0 is a three-phase permanent-magnet synchronous motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. As an ultra-compact servo element, it fits tightly inside small automation cabinets while delivering closed-loop rotary positioning and velocity control to packaging stations, pick-and-place axes, and light material-handling gantries.

At a rated speed of 3000 rpm, the motor produces a continuous torque of 1.27 Nm while drawing 2.40 A rms from the drive. The electromagnetic system can be surged to 3.82 Nm and up to 7.23 A rms for brief acceleration events. A torque constant of 0.52 Nm/A links stator current to mechanical output. Five pole pairs establish the electrical frequency, and the per-phase back-EMF gradient of 18.30 mV/rpm informs drive voltage scaling. Natural convection removes heat through the housing. The windings are set for a 3000 min⁻¹ base speed, and encoder logic is supplied from a 4.75–5.25 V line. Power and feedback conductors enter via an M17 quick-lock SPEEDCON connector, and low rotor inertia supports rapid transitions for indexing profiles.

The feedback system is an Optical Encoder (23 Bit) supporting single-turn and multiturn tracking at sub-arcminute resolution. Protection level IP65 seals the frame size 3, length B housing against dust and water jets. The allowed ambient range is 0 to 40 Celsius, and installation is permitted up to 1000 m altitude. Acoustic output is limited to 65 dB(A). The keyed shaft is supplied without a sealing ring, so external oil seals are required for lubricated gearboxes. An absent holding brake lowers rotating mass when static clamping is handled elsewhere. Twin metal-jacketed cables route power and sensors as defined by the double-cable lead arrangement. Placement within the Ultra Compact Motor product group favors shallow cabinets and tight multi-axis clusters.
