The MS2M04-A0FNN-KMDL0 is an ultra-compact synchronous motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MS2M Ultra Compact Motors series. It is intended for integration into space-limited automated machinery where a servo axis must deliver accurate speed and position control without adding significant mass or depth.

At its continuous duty point the motor outputs 0.75 kW while rotating at 3000 rpm; this corresponds to a shaft load of 2.39 Nm maintained with a phase draw of 4.1 A. For rapid acceleration the drive can momentarily supply up to 12.3 A. A 23-bit optical encoder, offered in single- or multiturn form, furnishes high-resolution position data. Low rotor inertia shortens settling time, and the three-phase winding is tuned for 3000 min⁻¹ operation. Power and feedback reach the unit through M17 quick-lock SPEEDCON connectors on a double metal lead set. Heat is removed only by natural convection, allowing operation from 0 °C to 40 °C without forced airflow. The design is delivered without a holding brake, and its acoustic emission is limited to 65 dB(A) at nominal speed.

Peak torque reaches 7.16 Nm for brief overload intervals. Environmental sealing meets IP65 requirements, and the keyed shaft is provided without a sealing ring. The 80 mm square flange, 70 mm spigot, and 90 mm bolt circle combine with frame size 4 and frame length A to simplify alignment. Overall mass is only 2.8 kg, easing payload demands on moving carriages. Control electronics power the encoder through a range of 4.75 – 5.25 V, and the 19 mm shaft diameter transmits the rated output without additional coupler sleeves.
