The MS2N06-D0BNN-BMUL2-NNNNN-NN servo motor is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MS2N Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is a permanent-magnet synchronous unit intended to drive precision axes in industrial automation, supplying repeatable torque and velocity for pick-and-place heads, tool spindles, and packaging actuators. Integrated feedback and a compact mechanical envelope allow the motor to replace bulkier assemblies while maintaining closed-loop positioning performance.

A rated speed of 3000 1/min defines the top continuous operating velocity, allowing direct coupling to machinery without overspeed risk. Heat is dissipated through Self-cooling, so no external fan or liquid circuit is necessary. The winding terminals and sensor conductors exit via a Double cable connection M23 / M17, rotatable, giving installation flexibility and clear separation of power from feedback. Absolute position data up to multiple revolutions is captured by the Multiturn - 4,096 revolutions absolute encoder, while fine incremental edges are produced by its Standard - 128 Signal periods, Hiperface® interface, enabling tight velocity and position loops under a compatible drive controller.

The rotor is built for Low inertia, allowing rapid accelerations and fast reversal cycles when commanded by the drive. A Size 2, electrically released holding brake secures the shaft at standstill, supporting vertical loads without external clamps. Torque is transmitted through a Keyway, without shaft sealing ring shaft that suits environments already protected by the machine interface. Exterior surfaces are finished with Standard varnish, RAL 9005 black, providing basic chemical resistance and visual identification. A standard bearing arrangement, frame length D, standard flange exactness, and B5 / IM3001 mounting with PT1000 temperature sensing complete the mechanical package, all within the MS2N06 motor size designation and standard design feature set.
