A rotor with Low inertia reduces acceleration time, making the unit suitable for pick-and-place cycles or electronic camming. Internal Self-cooling draws heat through the stator surface so no external blower or liquid jacket is required. Position feedback is provided by a Singleturn - 1 revolution absolute encoder; the 128-period Hiperface® interface supplies commutation data and multiturn tracking through the drive.
