The MS2N06-D0BRN-CMSL2-NNNNE-NN is a synchronous servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the MS2N Synchronous Servo Motors series. It converts drive current into rotary motion for positioning stages, pick-and-place axes, and other automated machinery that need repeatable velocity and position control. Designed around the MS2N06 frame, the motor supplies medium continuous torque in a compact envelope that mates directly with IndraDrive power modules through a single-cable feedback architecture.

At a rated speed of 4500 1/min, the rotor can sustain commanded motion without derating during continuous duty. Its Low inertia rotor shortens acceleration times, allowing tighter cycle intervals on dynamic axes. Position data comes from an Advanced - 20-Bit, ACURO®Link encoder that delivers high-resolution feedback, while the Multiturn - 4,096 revolutions absolute function preserves absolute position across power cycles. Heat is removed by a Self-cooling airflow path through the stator housing, so no external blower or liquid jacket is necessary. The B5 / IM3001 flange pattern with standard exactness aligns the motor concentrically, and the integrated PT1000 sensor reports winding temperature to the drive for thermal management. Standard bearings support radial and axial loads, and the D frame length balances torque output against overall weight.

The electrical interface uses a Single cable connection M23 that can be rotated to ease cabinet routing and combines power, encoder, and brake conductors in one lead. For vertical axes, a Size 2, electrically released holding brake engages mechanically when the drive is disabled, eliminating motion drift. External surfaces carry a Standard varnish, RAL 9005 black finish that resists oil mist and provides basic corrosion protection. Safety bonding is improved by an added Additional grounding connection, supporting low-impedance paths back to earth. A keyed shaft without a sealing ring simplifies coupling to gearboxes while minimizing friction losses.
