The MS2N10-D1BNN-BSVG0-NNNNN-NN is a synchronous servo motor produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the MS2N Synchronous Servo Motors series. It is specified for machinery axes that require rapid positioning, tight speed regulation, and repeatable torque in assembly, packaging, and material-handling cells. By combining permanent-magnet technology with integrated feedback electronics, the unit converts drive inverter commands into controlled mechanical rotation, enabling equipment builders to shorten cycle times while maintaining accurate path following.

Its rated shaft speed reaches 3000 1/min, a value that defines the upper continuous operating velocity before field-weakening is needed. Heat generated at that speed is removed through a self-cooling airflow path, eliminating the need for external blowers. Power and feedback are routed through a double cable connection M40/M17 that can be rotated to simplify cabinet wiring. Position data is supplied by a singleturn absolute Hiperface® encoder with 128 signal periods, enabling high-resolution commutation within one mechanical revolution. Stopping torque is provided only by the drive because the motor is delivered without a holding brake. Additional features include a smooth shaft with a sealing ring, standard rolling bearings, and a frame length coded “D” that matches the MS2N10 geometry.

Surface protection is provided by a RAL 9005 black varnish that resists oils and common plant contaminants. The rotor is engineered for an average rotor inertia class so acceleration remains responsive while still damping minor load fluctuations. Mounting conforms to B5/IM3001 mounting, and the stator windings include a PT1000 sensor that supplies temperature feedback to the drive controller for overload monitoring. Standard flange exactness and design features contribute to consistent alignment during assembly, while the MS2N10 size designation and smooth shaft allow direct coupling to precision gearheads or belt pulleys without additional machining.
