MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors
The MSK050C-0300-NN-M3-UG0-NNNN is a synchronous servomotor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. It converts electrical energy from an IndraDrive inverter into controlled rotary motion for positioning, contouring, and cyclic feed tasks in automated production lines. Integrated electronic feedback allows the controller to adjust torque and speed in real time, so the motor can maintain repeatable axis behavior in packaging, printing, or material-handling equipment.
The unit relies on Natural convection to dissipate heat, so unrestricted airflow around its standard housing must be provided to maintain continuous torque. A Rotatable, 240° feedback connector lets the installer orient the plug within a wide sector, reducing strain on the cable as the axis moves. Position data is transmitted through the Hiperface interface, which carries both incremental and absolute information to the controller. Internally the encoder generates 16 signal periods per mechanical revolution, giving the drive sufficient resolution for smooth velocity control at low speed and accurate synchronization during high-speed cycles.
The sensing element is based on Capacitive technology, which is tolerant of oil mist and magnetic interference often present in machine enclosures. Its Multiturn Absolute design tracks shaft angle over many revolutions without external batteries, enabling the axis to power up in a known position. Because the motor is supplied without a holding brake, any static load must be secured by the drive or an external clamp. A stator length code of C and a frame size of 050 create a compact footprint, while winding code 0300 and a plain shaft interface match the motor to light-medium duty servo applications.
