The MSK050C-0450-NN-M1-UP1-NNNN is an IndraDyn S synchronous servomotor built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the MSK IndraDyn S Synchronous Motors series. As a closed-loop actuator, it converts electrical energy into controlled rotary motion for positioning tables, pick-and-place axes, or packaging spindles in industrial automation cells. The motor follows the series’ standard design conventions and is delivered as a fully assembled drive element that integrates feedback, power, and braking functions inside a compact frame.
Heat is removed through Natural convection, allowing installation without auxiliary fans. Within the standard design envelope, the C-length housing balances torque density against envelope size, while the size 050 frame matches common MSK flange patterns. A Rotatable, 240° encoder connector eases cable routing in machines with tight panel space. Position data are transmitted over the Hiperface serial interface, and the optical scanning method inside the feedback system provides 128 signal periods per revolution. This Optical encoder technology delivers high accuracy without susceptibility to magnetic fields, supporting precise servo regulation across the rated speed band.
For multi-axis setups that rely on absolute position recall after power loss, the feedback device stores turns with its Multiturn absolute feature. The motor includes a spring-applied, electrically released brake rated for 6 Nm, which secures vertical loads when drive power is removed. A Shaft with keyway couples torque to keyed pulleys or couplings, preventing slip under dynamic loads. Winding code 0450 identifies the stator coil set matched to MSK drives, ensuring the current constants programmed in the controller correspond to this exact electromagnetic profile.
